Julia Grace Saffold is an author, mentor, and empowerment leader whose gift of encouragement touches the lives of everyone she encounters. She is an Ordained Independent Minister of the Gospel through NACA, the National Association of Christian Ministers, and holds an associate degree in Theology. As a proud wife, mother, and grandmother, Julia’s heart is rooted in faith, purpose, and intentionality. Shaped by wisdom and resilience, she walks out her soul‑purpose with grace, helping individuals and teams grow with clarity and confidence.
As a seasoned Worship Arts Development Leader, Julia brings more than four decades of experience as a respected choir directress and ministry mentor. She has faithfully supported choirs, worship teams, musicians, and worship arts leaders with wisdom and heartfelt encouragement. Julia is the founder of The Worship Arts V.I.P. Experience (The W.A.V.E.), a conference‑style music workshop launched in 2019 under the banner Triumphant in Worship – Victorious in Praise. Created to strengthen and renew music ministries, The W.A.V.E. offers spiritual encouragement, musical development, and team building. Her book, The Choir in the Mirror offers seven transformative keys that help music ministries reflect, realign, and renew their passion to serve with both skill and spiritual depth. Through her books, music workshops, retreats, mentoring, and training, Julia equips teams to grow in ways that are spiritually grounded, musically strong, and relationally healthy.
Julia’s passion for legacy‑building flows into her work as an author support specialist in her daughter’s publishing company, where she is fondly known as “Coach Julia, The Author’s Doula.” She has mentored hundreds of aspiring authors, helping them self‑publish books that heal, uplift, and inspire, transforming personal stories into tools for empowerment and lasting impact. Beyond her work supporting authors, her book Life‑Work on Purpose and her signature coaching curriculum continue to uplift parents, educators, mentors, caregivers, ministry leaders, and other everyday encouragers who continually pour into others, offering renewal, purpose, and strength for every season of their journey.
Julia’s heart for legacy also extends into family‑centered outreach. Drawing from her experience as a mother, grandmother, and matriarch, she is affectionately known as “Mama Jewel” while traveling with her daughter’s youth empowerment tours. She offers encouragement, wisdom, and a nurturing presence to parents and caregivers who support rising young leaders. Her children’s book The Beyond Beautiful Treasure Box has sparked meaningful conversations among youth and adults about emotional resilience, identity, and inner strength. Her upcoming release, Raising Diamonds That Shine, deepens this mission by equipping parents and caregivers with empowering gems that help them guide youth toward clarity, courage, and resilience.
Julia is a woman who has lived, led, poured out, and continues to sow into others with grace and intention. In every role she walks in, whether as minister, mentor, coach, or matriarch, she lives out her calling to shine light, share love, inspire hope, and ignite change.
